Imminent attacks on Bitcoin
Ordinals and NFT’s coming to bitcoin and various attacks on bitcoin that many of you are worried about. Is not possible to filter out transactions with ordinals or inscriptions, as these are real Bitcoin transactions involving real satoshis and sats that need to be accounted for when your node does an audit of the history of all Bitcoin transactions. If we ban “useless” data, it would be easy for would-be data stores to hide their data inside “useful” data, like dummy signatures or public keys.
Bitcoin owners, like gold bugs, were just trying to protect themselves from the government taking their savings through printing money and inflation. The propaganda says that Bitcoin caused the collapse of the financial system, but it was going to collapse anyway due to bad decisions. Corey Clipston’s essay “Flipping the US for Bitcoin” discusses the race to drive adoption of Bitcoin as fast as possible and the need to live our lives as if things are going to get worse before they get better. He encourages people to sell their Bitcoin and do what the authorities tell them to do, as they will get a lot of free “fed coin” in their CBDC wallet as a reward for being a good citizen. He also encourages people to think long and hard about the digital prison that is coming and how to avoid it and work around CBDC’s.
If ordinals and NFT’s on bitcoin make people want to jump off the Bitcoin train, they won’t survive the trials and tribulations of this decade. The global financial system is undergoing a reset as companies choose to trade and do commodity trade in different currencies, which is bad for the US dollar system and could lead to Fiat currencies imploding.
